Announcing the Release of Carbon Black EDR Event Forwarder 3.8.1
We’re excited to announce the release of Carbon Black EDR Event Forwarder 3.8.1 for on-prem EDR customers. Event Forwarder 3.8.1 is a maintenance release, which delivers the following bug fixes and improvements:
Bug Fixes / Improvements
- Fixes a bug where timestamps were not included with certain event-types
- Fixes a bug where messages were silently dropped in certain error cases
- Improved hostname detection
- Better error logging for configuration errors
